Walking from the Wherry Lines |
We do try and do different walks each year and so a new variety are listed below.

Dogs (on a lead) are welcome, there is no charge for dogs on the train.
For further details of train times and fares please telephone 08457 48 49 50.
All the walks are FREE to rail ticket holders, walkers arriving by car will be asked to pay the normal day return train fare from Norwich to the walk leader.
PLEASE NOTE THAT NOT ALL WALKS START AND FINISH AT THE SAME STATION.

From sea to woodland, shire horses to iron-working, explore the varied landscape of Beeston and West Runton. A walk along the cliff-top (including steps up and down Beeston Bump) to Beeston Regis church, then inland to skirt the bottom of the ridge into West Runton (3.5 miles), with an optional walk (including steps) over Incleborough Hill (total of 4.5 miles) if time allows. |

| Walk details: | A leisurely walk from Berney Arms station across grazing marshes to
Berney Mill and then along the north edge of Breydon Water finishing at
Yarmouth station. This walk gives particularly fine views of birds feeding
on the mud flats of the estuary, so don’t forget your binoculars! Whilst
walking conditions are flat there are quite a number of stiles on this walk.
Note - When purchasing your train ticket please ask for a return to Great Yarmouth but alight at Berney Arms.
